Restorative Dentistry » Denture

Dentures are the most commonly used dental appliance in the world and bring full functionality to an enormous population of people suffering the loss of one or more teeth. Comfortable, removable, easy to clean and use, dentures are a wonderful, budget-friendly option to replace missing teeth.

A complete or full denture is one that replaces all the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaws. A partial denture fills the spaces left by lost or missing teeth. They can also be used alongside implants.

How a denture can help
As with other methods of replacing missing teeth dentures provide structure and support to the face and cheeks.
Modern techniques and materials mean that dentures can now be a far better fit, making eating and speaking much easier, and they also look far more natural then in the past.

The procedure for fitting dentures
We will examine your mouth to decide if dentures are suitable for you. We will discuss which type of denture is most suitable for you and explain why, as well as giving you a costing.

An impression of your gums will be taken. This will be given to the dental technician who will make your dentures to fit the exact contours of your mouth. Dentures usually require 4-5 visits from start to finish.
