Growing up in Chigwell as a young girl I recall being fascinated my father, who was a local doctor.  The man who gave me big cuddles and read me my bedtime story… the man I called Daddy was amazing, as his job was to help make people feel well again.

The more I understood of his job, the more I realised and I wanted to do something just like my father and make people feel better.

It wasn’t until about the age of 15 after I was wrongly placed in a Dental Practice for work experience, that I first discovered the ‘Art of the Smile’.

I discovered just how much healthier and more confident people felt with a bright, white smile.   I realised by becoming a dentist I could help people look young, boost their self-esteem and help them create a more fuller life.

It took 8-years of hard education to gain my degree (with Honours) and become a qualified dentist.   However, I hadn’t finished learning and for 6 years I worked as a dentist, for about half that time in NHS practice, seeing up to 35 people a day … and the achievement I’m most proud of was working with children.  Not once have I ever sent a child away because they wouldn’t seat and allow me to work on them.

The rest of the time was spent in a private practice to learn quality dentistry with teeth whitening, white fillings, fitting crowns, veneers and bridges.  All these helped people to smile and be self-assured.

In the 6-years while I worked for other people in their practices I was able to take on post-graduate education to learn the real ‘Art of the Smile’ which allows me to offer Surgical Tooth Implants.

Now after 14-years of education and learning the art of dentistry I have bought my own practice in the beautiful town of Royston… and I hope you allow me to show you my gentle still in the ‘Art of the Smile.
